Warranty terms

We thank you for choosing to purchase our products.

Here you will find the general warranty service terms as well as usage recommendations.

1. Warranty Period

1.1. 2 (two) year warranty is provided for all products from the date of purchase or receipt of the service.

1.2. 15 (fifteen) year warranty for bed frame from the date of purchase or receipt of the service.

2. Non-Application of Warranty

2.1. The warranty does not apply to products in the following cases:

2.1.1. The buyer contacted during the warranty period but failed to present documents confirming the purchase of the product (receipt, invoice, payment transfer, etc.).

2.1.2. The product was used for purposes other than its intended use, not following the manufacturer's recommendations, or was damaged due to the actions of the buyer, third parties, or environmental conditions.

2.1.3. The product was disassembled or repaired without the manufacturer's consent, as well as any defects caused by cutting, scratching, breaking, staining, spilling, etc.

2.1.4. Due to natural wear and tear of the product, including changes or inconsistencies in fabric color or excessively loose fabric.

2.1.5. The product being returned is improperly packed or not packed at all. The product must be packed in a way that prevents it from getting dirty during transport. If the product – a bed – was assembled by Maison Somnus representatives, then for a low-quality product that the buyer wishes to return, Maison Somnus representatives will take care of disassembling, picking up from the buyer, and transporting it.

2.1.6. The product – bed – was assembled poorly, not according to the manufacturer's recommendations, when it was assembled by someone other than Maison Somnus representatives, or was stored improperly, not following the manufacturer's recommendations.

2.1.7. In other terms and conditions set for the purchase and sale of Maison Somnus products on the website www.maison-somnus.com or through other electronic communication means (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms"), which are also published online on the site, the address of which is www.maison-somnus.com.

2.2. The warranty applies if, during the warranty period, for example, a seam tears or other material or manufacturing

defects arise. If the submitted claim and product defects are recognized as warranty defects, Maison Somnus will replace the defective product parts or the entire product with an identical or very similar product.

3. Recommendations for Product Use

3.1. Ensure proper ventilation in the spaces where the products will be used and maintain an optimal humidity level.

3.2. Jumping on the products is prohibited, as it may damage the product's structure.

3.3. If the bed's structure begins to squeak due to prolonged mechanical movement during use, lubricate the lifting mechanism with oil, liquid silicone, or another transparent lubricant. Additionally, retighten the bed assembly screws.

3.4. This will prevent damage to the mattress structure and ensure proper air circulation. Mattresses are not suitable for use on solid wooden bases or metal slats, as such bases can damage the mattress structure. These types of bed bases do not allow air to circulate freely, leading to moisture accumulation and potential mold formation.

3.5. To ensure the mattress wears evenly and retains its essential properties for longer, it is recommended to rotate and air it regularly (flip the mattress to the other side and switch the head and foot ends). The mattress can be used on both sides, and it is advised to rotate it every 2–3 months (flip it to the other side and switch the head and foot ends).

3.6. People who weigh more than the recommended limit can still use these mattresses; however, in such cases, the warranty will not apply.

3.7. Mattresses, toppers, memory foam pillows, and other similar products are not designed for washing. Only the covers can be washed or cleaned by other methods (refer to the care label on the cover).

3.8. Beds and other furniture (cabinets, bean bags, bedside tables) are not intended for washing. The surfaces of the products can be cleaned with dry cleaning or a similar method. Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents for cleaning fabric-covered bed parts or other furniture parts. It is recommended to use cleaning products designed for furniture fabrics or laundry soap that does not contain dye solutions.

3.9. Specific care requirements for products or product covers are provided on the care labels attached to the products, except for beds or other furniture (cabinets, bean bags, bedside tables), which are maintained in accordance with the procedure specified in section 3.8.

4. Additional information

4.1. Due to the softness of the materials used in the manufacturing process, the product's length and width may have an error margin of up to 1.5 cm, and the height may have an error margin of up to 1 cm from the dimensions stated on the label. This has no impact on the mattress's properties.

4.2. When using the product, its softness may change by up to 15% (fifteen percent). This occurs due to the physical properties of the material.

4.3. Due to the materials used in many products, there may be a specific odor; however, it will disappear permanently by ventilating the room. People who are more sensitive to smells may notice the scent of a new product for a longer time. There is no need to worry about this – only certified materials that are safe for health are used in the manufacturing process.

4.4. If you purchased a bed, a detailed assembly manual is provided with it. It is recommended to assemble the bed with two people.

4.5. Non-standard size mattresses may be glued together from multiple parts, but this does not affect the product's physical properties.

4.6. When using the mattress, areas subjected to the greatest pressure may develop indentations. Deformation of up to 10% (ten percent) of the base height does not affect the mattress's properties.

Mattresses are comfortable and practical, as they are easy to maintain due to covers being made with zippers around the entire mattress. By unzipping, the cover is divided into two parts, which are much easier to clean or wash compared to regular covers.

The inner cover is a special material insert; it is a flexible inner cover that will make it easier to remove the mattress cover when you want to clean the top cover. The inner cover must not be removed—it is a part of the mattress base, and removing it will void the mattress warranty.
